Ragetti, had he known of such things, might have considered the pace he was going at to be impressive enough to consider trying out for the Olympics. As he did not know of such things, he was focussed on running as fast as he damn well could. His feet seemed to barely touch the ground as he zoomed down the path at an intense speed that made his heart feel it would burst within his chest at any given moment.
He had a fairly reasonable idea that the giant thing (http://www.cbv.ns.ca/marigold/history/dinosaurs/datafiles/edmontosaurus.html) was one of the dinosaurs he had heard so much about, but it still was not something he had been happy to encounter so closesly. He'd just been leaving the Aylum and there it was, and it had stared at him. At first he had thought it rather silly looking, despite it's enormous size, but then it lowered onto all of it's feet and BLONKED at him. Then pawed at the earth and did to again before moving forward.
So he was running. As fast as he could before he met a meaner one, and naturally, Delirium was right there ahead of him.
